A local schoolboy has gone viral for his superstar dance moves and Mzansi just can’t get enough of him. ‘MATENAS’ GOES VIRAL
A series of videos shared by Twitter user @gucciweirdooo on Monday 6 June of a schoolboy nicknamed “Matenas” has gone viral.
In the first video, his classmate asks him to break into dance while in the classroom, but Matenas offered to show off his moves during break time.
During break, the schoolboy dances along to a house track as his fellow classmate cheers him on. In another video, Matenas dons an Orlando Pirates soccer jersey and his classmates continue to cheer him on.

MZANSI CAN’T GET ENOUGH
Reacting to Matenas’ viral video, tweeps were blown away by his dance moves while others praised him for saving his dance moves for during break time.
“Matenas is a king that respects the classroom and I love him for it,” wrote one tweep.
“I’d never miss a day at school if Matenas was my classmate,” wrote another tweep.
“Whoever posted the video [of] Matenas made the country happy. We should vote for them to be President. We’ve been busy with that video since we woke up.”

WILL MATENAS BECOME A BIG STAR?
Matenas caught the attention of Pretoria-based amapiano duo Mellow and Sleazy following his viral videos.
The Nkao Tempela hitmakers shared on their Instagram profile that the schoolboy will be joining them at the Barcardi Fest in Ga-Rankuwa, Pretoria.
He also caught the attention of local record label Ambitiouz Entertainment who expressed interest in signing the young talent.
“We just hope his bars are hard as his body,” wrote the label on Twitter.
