There are a few things that unite us as South Africans and one of the most special things is music! A South African man went viral on TikTok after he showed off his unique dance moves to Mandoza’s legendary hit, Nkalakatha. The video was posted on Saturday 3 September and has since been viewed two million times!

SA MAN WOWS MZANSI WITH HIS DANCE MOVES 

Mandoza’s Nkalakatha is one of the most iconic South African songs of all time. The track was released in 2000 and won the Song of the Year at the South African Music Awards (SAMAs) the following year. 22 years later, the track is still keeping Mzansi entertained on dance floors throughout the country.

Rojhey Herselman had Mzansi talking after he posted a TikTok video of himself grooving to Nkalakatha. Herselman does the popular “nwazgi” dance move and adds a spontaneous jump to his routine. 

The video has been liked more than 100 000 times and has received two million views in just three days.

MZANSI IS LOVING THE DANCE MOVES! 

Taking to the comments section, South Africans were quite impressed with Rojhey Herselman’s dance moves.

ROJHEY HERSELMAN VS TIKTOK SENSATION MATENAS

Rojhey Herlseman is not the only South African who has gone viral for his dance moves. Pretoria schoolboy Martinus Olckers, better known as Matenas, went viral after his friend and manager Mandla took videos of him dancing. 

The Suiderberg School pupil became an instant celebrity for his dance moves and teased his first music video in July.

He has since gained more than 21 000 Instagram followers and he is now learning how to DJ.
