The daily masks were never a planned thing. It all happened organically. A good friend of mine, Andrew White, changed his WhatsApp profile picture to him wearing his underpants as a mask and that is where it all pretty much started.

Andrew White in his ‘underpants mask’…

Once I posted the failed attempt at an “underpants” mask someone commented: Have you seen the nappy/diaper mask? and it all just evolved from there.

There is a quote by Veronica Roth that goes: “Sometimes crying or laughing are the only options left, and laughing feels better right now”.

So why not try and make people laugh or even just smile in these uncertain times?

Salute to Red Cross

I spent the day delivering food parcels on 1 April to the most vulnerable in our community in Greyton. We have been working on this project for less than a week and managed to get a week’s supply of food to 1 060 people, 600 of whom are children.

So today I would like to salute all those working like crazy to supply us with essential and emergency services. You are truly heroes!
