Justin Sullivan is a South African documentary photographer, he is most famed for his coverage of the Fees Must Fall protests and a collection of wild fires. Being a photographer looking to cover the truth is often a dangerous task though.
In his special with Beautiful News, Sullivan explains how he has received numerous death threats as well as threats of exclusion. When covering the wildfires Sullivan is right on the front line with the firemen, that presents all its own dangers too. Sullivan says that he is so determined to educate people through the truth, why? because it disrupts. Check out Justin’s incredible story below.
