Master KG, the Limpopo-based artist who took the world by storm with his smash hit Jerusalema, has officially released a new anthem. It’s the first tune the DJ had dropped since achieving global acclaim during the winter, and we think it’s fair to say that Ng’zolova has the potential to win the public over once again.

It’s a certified toe-tapper for the festive season. A real December vibe runs through this track, as the melodic rhythms and hauntingly beautiful vocals take Ng’zolova to a higher plain. A soulful beat persists for the best part of five minutes, and this follow-up to Jerusalema is successful in carving its own identity – while paying homage to the song that made Master KG.

It features contributions from DJ Tira and Nokwazi. This coming together of industry titans ensures that KG – who treated himself to a Ferrari when his last hit went viral – will remain in the fast lane when it comes to producing the bangers.

Our summer soundtrack has a joyful new addition, and while we’re getting festive over the next few weeks, this song is taking centre stage in our music library. Master KG has done it again – and, once more, the sky is the limit for our guy.

Good early reaction for Ng’zolova

The DJ’s star continues to rise, and on Thursday, the musician was boosted when he got the nod from Jay-Z. The American music mogul added Jerusalema to his end-of-year Tidal Playlist. He joins the likes of Drake, The Weeknd, and Nas on the exclusive roster – and now, he’ll be hoping for Ng’zolova to capture imaginations in the same fashion.
