His wife Tessa, once a successful lawyer, was forced to take on the role of housewife. Their teenage daughter is pregnant, their youngest son is about to get married and their adopted son battles with his identity. Don’t miss it!

The second series of Elders return after Grundling’s Camino adventure in Spain last year. This time around, Grundling and his film crew had to Japan to explore the Land of the Rising Sun.
Elders: Japan will focus on the fascinating country. Not only is it one of the most unique destinations in the world, but also host to the forthcoming Rugby World Cup from 20 September to 2 November.
Grundling will undertake two pilgrimages in Japan – the Kumano Kodo, similar to the Camino in Spain, and the Nakasendo, a former trade route between Kyoto and Tokyo.
