A study revealed that the Kruger National Park is the ninth most popular national park in the world on TikTok.

South Africa’s Kruger National Park is said to be the ninth most popular national park in the world, according to data from TikTok.
The most popular national parks on TikTok
The Kruger National Park, in northeastern South Africa, is one of Africa’s largest game reserves and now world-famous according to a study by ParkSleepFly. The company analysed the view counts of national parks around the world to reveal the most popular national parks on TikTok.
“Using TikTok we want to reveal the most popular national parks around the world, splitting them by US and UK as well as other parks around the world and ranking their popularity according to the number of views.”
The company found that TikTok users are very fond of Yellowstone National Park which came in first place with 630.3 million views.

The Denali National Park came in second with 291.5 million views. This park in Alaska is home to Denali, the highest peak in North America, and houses roughly 400 000 visitors each year.
This is followed by Yosemite National Park, Grand Canyon National Park, Göreme National Park, Joshua Tree National Park, Glacier National Park and Lake District National Park in the United Kingdom before SA’s Kruger National Park comes in.

In the past, the Kruger National Park has been called the tourism sector’s “secret weapon”. It is believed that the Kruger National Park is bigger than Belgium or Wales and features “unspoilt hectares of African bush plains”.
