Britney Spears broke the sad news on Instagram on Saturday evening that she lost her ‘miracle baby’, a month after announcing she was expecting her first child with fiance Sam Asghari.

THIS COMES A MONTH AFTER ANNOUNCING THE PREGNANCY

Britney already has two sons with her ex-husband Kevin Federline – Jayden, 15, and Sean, 16.

‘It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,’ she posted.

They were “overly excited to share the good news” and shared the news of the miscarriage “with our deepest sadness”.

“Our love for each other is our strength,” the couple said.

It is a “devastating time for any parent”, they added.

“We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support.”

Commenting on their post, Asghari said: “We will have a miracle soon.”

According to reports, Sam initially met Spears in October of 2016 when they worked together on her video Slumber Party, and they began dating soon after that.

The couple announced their engagement in September 2021.

Recent events in Britney’s personal life followed the freedom she gained after 13 years of living under a conservatorship.

The controversial legal agreement that controlled her personal and financial affairs was finally ended in November following a court ruling.

During those proceedings, the 40-year-old Britney Spears described how the conservatorship – run by, among others, her father, Jamie Spears – had affected not only her finances but also her choice to get married and have another child.
