After many requests for a rebroadcast of Ian von Memerty’s Prince of the Piano one-man piano show, organisers decided to bring the show to audiences while in the comfort of their own homes.

The ‘perfect antidote’

The show was recently recorded in the Magnetic Storm studio, with dazzling lights, fantastic sound and a full TV camera rig.

Fans can expect Von Memerty (who is popularly known for co-hosting the SABC2 reality dance competition Strictly Come Dancing among many more things) in his one-man piano show where he will “give viewers the chance to enjoy a full-blown theatrical experience”.

“From Elton John to Freddy Mercury, Carol King, Liberace, Stevie Wonder and Billy Joel; enjoy a full-blown theatrical experience from the comfort of your home! The perfect antidote to the winter lockdown blues.”
