MUSIC, HEALTH DRINKS AND PLAYTIME!

Speaking to The Wall Street Journal, Katy Perry broke down her Monday morning routine. As soon as she wakes up, Perry kicks off the day with a verbal ritual and squeezes in some playtime with her one-year-old daughter Daisy.

“It usually varies what time we’re waking up 07:00 or 08:00. Sometimes I get to sleep in and Daddy [Orlando Bloom] takes her until 09:00, which is super. But we do breakfast together.”

The 37-year-old singer says she always kicks off her day by listening to Bill Withers’ classic feel-good hit Lovely Day. She then has a Niacin flushing drink with hubby Orlando Bloom. Niacin is a form of vitamin B3 that assists with cholesterol.

Perry mentioned that the drink leaves her red but it gets the blood moving.

“Sometimes we’ll have celery juice, it just gets the movements going. We need all the help we can get.”

‘I HATE WORKING OUT’

The award-winning singer revealed that her exercise routine mostly consists of her being half late to work out because she hates it.

“I’m always like, ‘I’m so late, too bad I can only do a few things.’ The guy who works me out is like ‘Yeah, right’.”

Her upcoming Las Vegas residency has her in the gym three to five times a week but it’s mostly about strength training and weights for the Grammy award-winning singer.

“We also like to hike. Orlando has one of those hiking backpacks that we can pop Daisy into: she loves it.”

Perry is excited that her daughter Daisy will join her in Las Vegas.

Speaking to ABC News she said: “She is adaptable and happy: her schedule fluctuates. In the beginning, I worried about a schedule, but decided I won’t be that mom.”

“All that matters is that everyone is happy.”
