When the weekend arrives, it’s time for more snacks and treats. If you want to keep things healthy and less deep-fried, these baked chicken meatballs are a great way to go. They’re golden globes of ground chicken with tasty seasoning that will provide flavour with each bite. They’re great for snack boards but also perfect for those looking for healthy snacks and meals during the week without too much fat and low in carbs.

Tips for baked chicken meatballs

Panko crumbs are nice and fine, so they make a good, thin, cover around your chicken meatballs. Taking the time to heat your oven can waste electricity but you can easily cook them in your air fryer in half the time. You can make various dipping sauces like sweet chili, mayo and mustard or even a sweet chutney sauce. They’re high in protein, low in carbs and always tasty when placed on the snack board for the party.
