Old-fashioned custard cookies tips

Resting cookie dough is one of the best things you can do and you can put these in the fridge for a t least a day. This also gives you a chance to bake and prepare the other sweet treats on the menu for the party. You can shape them for specific occasions too, but the most iconic decoration is just a round cookie with a fork indentation. They can also be made into cookies with a jam sweet in the middle or sprinkle them with coconut.
