Even though it’s the holiday season, not everybody can or wants to have sugary snacks. Some people stick to their healthy meals and snacks while celebrating the festive season. Keto or a version of high protein and fat diet that cuts out carbs has been around for a while but is quite popular these days. Our sugar-free keto coconut treats are guilt free chocolate and coconut treats which you can enjoy whenever you want to.

There is also no dairy in this recipe and the coconut cream and coconut flakes provide that iconic taste while staying light and flaky. You can use your preferred sweetener to your own taste preferences. The cocoa covering is also not filled with dairy and butter, so it will not increase calories you don’t need. These treats are still super healthy and nobody will even notice when they’re on the holiday dessert table.

Sugar-free keto coconut treats recipe

These coconut treats are not only healthy, but tastes so good and we’re certain that it will definitely be a regular for you.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups 3 coconut

  • 1 cup 1 coconut cream

  • 1+1 tsp 1+1 vanilla essence (+1 teaspoon is for extra for cocoa mix)

  • sweetener as per taste

  • 8 tbsp 8 coconut oil

  • 4 tbsp 4 cocoa

Method

  • Heat up the coconut cream in a pot over very low heat and add vanilla essence
  • Add the coconut and stir until it forms a ball.
  • Place in prepared 20 x 30 dish at least 1 cm deep.
  • While still warm press down with a spoon.
  • Before placing in the refrigerator, cut in blocks of 3 cm x 2 cm or squares in the dish and place in the fridge for 1 hour.
  • Melt the following, in a small bowl add:
  • tablespoons of coconut oil.
  • tablespoons cocoa powder
  • teaspoon vanilla essence
  • Melt together and mix until smooth.
  • Let it cool down
  • When the coconut is done, remove the fridge.
  • Preheat cocoa mix for 20 seconds in the microwave
  • Cover each block with this cocoa and place on wax paper to set. If it’s cold it will set. In hot weather place them in fridge for 30 minutes to set.
  • Enjoy the delicious cookies
