Do you remember Sunday’s at grandma’s having a roast with all of your favourite foods including a traditional South African malva pudding? This brown pudding with apricot jam and often served with custard and ice cream is a true representation of what great things we’re capable of.
The sponge is soaked with sweet syrup and the contrast of warm pudding and custard with the cold ice cream is a real treat which you can now make at home to make grandma proud.
