There are some great whiskey cocktails ou there and one of the most classic is the whiskey sour. Even though cocktails themselves were originally invented to cure illness, cocktails like these have become mainstream in the modern age for nights out. Ingredients

  • 50 ml 50 Pogues Irish Whiskey

  • 35 ml 35 Fresh Lemon Juice

  • 2 dashes 2 Angostura bitters

  • white of one egg

  • 10 ml 10 gomme syrup

Method

  • Shake hard and strain over fresh ice.
  • Garnish with maraschino cherries and lemon zest.
  • Serve in a half pint glass tankard.
