If you love a little sweet treat in the evenings, this oreo microwave cake may just be the answer for you. It’s been a trend for a while and if you haven’t tried it then best you do now. It is also as simple as crush, mix and microwave.

Within five minutes, you can have a delicious, chocolaty microwave cake ready to enjoy while relaxing on the couch watching your favourite series or movie.

The best part is that you only need two ingredients, namely three oreo cookies and half a cup of milk. Follow the easy steps in the method below and within minutes you will have your own little chocolate cake in your hands.

This recipe is enough for one serving, so just double or triple up on the ingredients if you have more people with a sweet tooth to satisfy. This recipe is particularly helpful when you start craving chocolate cake in the middle of the night but all the shops are already closed.

  • 3 3 Oreo biscuits

  • 125 ml 125 milk


  • Put the cookies in a microwavable mug and add 125ml milk. You can use any milk.
  • Crush the mixture with a fork until the biscuits are crushed.
  • Once all mashed up, place in the microwave for 75 seconds.
  • Take out of the microwave and allow to cool for 30 seconds then eat and enjoy!
