Sorghum is a cereal grain similar to barley which are both low in fat, but packed with plant-based protein, fiber, B vitamins, and micronutrients. You can grill the nectarines on the braai too unless you have vegans who also want to enjoy the salad. The slightly charred fruit adds some caramelised sweetness while the rest of the ingredients add textures and more healthy nutrients, including the sweet honey. You can cook the grain ahead of time.
