It’s Easter-time and for most, a time to feast and be merry. Have you been on a food journey like so many of us this year? Are you still looking for some wonderful recipes to try out on your family? We have you covered with this Mushroom Biltong recipe. It’s perfect for those who are new to being vegetarian or vegan too.

Mushrooms are stacked with important nutrients like protein and fibre. Mushrooms are a perfect umami ingredient and adding some paprika and tamari adds a salty, spicy taste to your Mushroom Biltong. If you’re making big snack platters for your guests this weekend, why not add a bowl of this interesting and tasty treat.

Any mushroom can be used for this recipe. We would recommend that you have some sort of food dehydrator like the Ezidri Dehydrator at your disposal but it is possible to use a very low oven if it has a low enough setting.

Everybody can enjoy this interesting and delicious spin on a South African favourite. The Mushroom Biltong recipe is a great addition to any snack board or game-day spread.
