Trifle is oftentimes prepared over the Christmas period but it can be prepared for any other special occasion. Or you don’t even need a special occasion, but any time you want to indulge a bit, this is the recipe to prepare.

This minty nectarine strawberry trifle is a delicious combination of swiss roll with delicious fruit, custard, cream and minty chocolate. Tempted yet?

The best part is that once you have all your ingredients ready, you can whip together this delicious dessert in only 10 minutes. Make sure to place it in the fridge for 20 minutes before serving and make yourself ready for a delightful treat.

Prep time




  • 1.3 kg swiss roll

  • 250 g strawberries

  • 2 cups cream

  • 3 nectarines

  • 125 g mint chocolate crushed

  • 2 cups custard


  • Line the bottom of the trifle dish with the swiss roll.
  • Slice the strawberries and nectarines.
  • Spoon over the custard in a thick layer and add the strawberries and nectarine with crushed mint chocolate and cover with cream.
  • Repeat the sequence 3 times.
  • With the remaining fruits and chocolate decorate on top.
  • Refrigerate for 20 minutes and serve.
