Do you love chocolate desserts? Of course you do and we have something delicious and beautiful for you to bake this weekend. Honey, one of the best natural ingredients int he world, is always welcome as a sweet treat. We’ve combined honey, chocolates and nuts to create a pretty tea time snack. This honey and nut tart is a texture and flavour delight that you will be baking more often than you think after everybody’s tried and loved it.

Honey and nut tart tips

You can buy shortcrust pastry from your local store and like ready-made puff pastry, is often perfect as is. If you can find some, chocolate short pastry will add to the richness of the tart. When you’ve added the filling to the oven-proof pie plate, add more crushed nuts and spread the chocolate layer over that. Serve a big slice with whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream and some more nuts of even fruit like strawberries.

Enjoy the chocolate and honey goodness with our honey and nut tart. We won’t judge if you wake up at midnight to grab a slice from the fridge.
