Has your food journey started turning into a drink-making journey? Have you been looking for a drink with a kick that you can just make at home? Try our South African Homemade Pineapple Beer recipe which only needs three ingredients.

Adding sugar speeds the process up. For a stronger beer, let it stand and ferment for longer. Your pineapple beer is ready when you are happy with the taste and kick of the drink. Separate the liquid from the thick pieces of pineapple pulp by double-straining it through cheese cloth and a strainer. After bottling, leave the beer out of the fridge to ferment even further. When ready and happy with your beer, store it in the fridge for up to 30 days.
