If you’ve got busy mornings, you want a breakfast that will keep you going or help you recover from a great workout. You don’t need too many different ingredients but you want some important ones. This pineapple and spinach smoothie will keep you strong during the day as you get moving.

Pineapple and spinach smoothie suggestions

Spinach is of course packed with great iron and vitamin K which all help keep your muscles strong. The citrus in the pineapple tastes great and adds some acid to the smoothie but it also provides your immune system with Vitamin C and other healthy ingredients. The banana has magnesium and potassium which keeps you moving throughout the day. If you feel like you need a bit of protein when having it as a post-workout meal, add a scoop of vanilla protein powder.
