For this recipe, we have added some cream, egg yolks and nutmeg to increase the creamy indulgence and tastiness of this delicious side dish. When your mashed potato is prepared, simply add the velvet soft mixture into a piping bag and start with your decorative creativity. You only need to bake it for 20 minutes in the oven until the tops are lightly brown.

Ingredients

  • 6 potatoes

  • ½ cup cream

  • 1 teaspoon salt and pepper

  • 3 egg yolks

  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg

  • 5 tablespoons butter

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  • Boil the potatoes in a large pot for 25 minutes.
  • Transfer the potatoes to a large bowl and mash the potatoes until smooth and free of lumps.
  • Add the cream, butter, egg yolks, nutmeg, salt and pepper and mix well.
  • Line a baking sheet and spoon the potatoes mixture in a piping bag with a shaped nozzle and pipe decorative swirled shapes.
  • Bake until the tops are lightly browned, for about 20 minutes.
