Do you have a whole lot of people coming over for a feast this weekend? It’s time to start planning every meal that you want to bring to the table. A crunchy coleslaw is simple to make and always a winner. Not only does it look colourful on the table but it’s healthy and crunchy, making it fun to eat. Coleslaw is mostly known for different types of shredded cabbage with some other great vegetables.

Crunchy coleslaw tips

You can use various types of cabbage including purple cabbage for some colour. Most of the flavour comes from the green peppers, and again, you can use the other types too. Instead of mayonnaise, you can boil the sugar, vinegar and oil together for a tangy dressing. You can make the side a day in advance and pop it in the fridge and it will keep it’s great crunch. Coleslaw is great for a braai or with some chicken.
