Do you have some bread left-over from a few days ago and don’t know what to do other than throw it out? How about making something deliciously sweet? French toast is something we’ve all enjoyed on a Saturday morning for breakfast or brunch and gets the sweet treatment for those special days. Cinnamon Maple French toast is the breakfast treat that will keep you smiling.

We use semi-stale bread because it has lost moisture and then absorbs more of the egg mixture, making sure it’s soaked all the way in. You can use any toppings you want to but we love the combination of berries, banana and maple syrup. Vanilla is one of the world’s most underrated flavours and just adds something special to the mix together with cinnamon. Make sure to give your toast a nice golden brown crust before flipping, frying and serving with maple syrup.

If you’re looking to spoil your family with a fantastic weekend brunch surprise, Cinnamon Maple French Toast is the way to go.
