When the week is long, you do not want to cook for too long. Stir-fry is one of the best ways to cook anything as you cook at a high heat and have your dinner ready in 20-minutes. However, this recipe is a bit different and if you like different, you’ll love this chicken gizzard stir-fry recipe. Gizzards are the digestive systems that are surrounded by thick walls of muscle and actually very healthy with iron and protein making up most of the nutrients.

Chicken gizzard stir-fry tips

Get your produce from your local butcher who would usually throw these out and rest them in milk overnight. This recipe only has two ingredients but you can add some onions and mushrooms to this taste explosion. Slicing the peppers and gizzards to be the same length and thickness helps with texture and cooking time. You can also add some chilies if you want to add some spice to get over the idea that it’s gizzards. Serve yours with some golden fluffy pancakes (crepes) or rice.
