There’s just something about chocolate cake that makes everybody happy. The same can be said about chocolate chip cookies and cherry pie. We’ve combined them all in one great cake. Our cherry and chocolate chip cake is sweet, most and the perfect dessert at any dinner party. Fresh cherries and dark chocolate pair surprisingly well together and the cake is just a base for many more opportunities.

The simple cake batter is quick to make and you can add more flavour with icings and decorations. This cake is a single layer but you can either double up and put them together with butter icing and top it that way too. Top the cake with nuts, more chocolate pieces or even more cherries. Enjoy this moist and textured cake with a hot cup of tea or coffee with your friends for the best results. Serve with a big scoop of ice cream or whipped cream.

Chocolate and cherries are always a good mix. So, we made a cherry and chocolate chips cake for tea time or for your next dinner party dessert.
