Making bobotie braaibroodjies

Bobotie originates from the Western Cape of South Africa and is a sweet mince curry known for its taste of apricots and covered in eggs. Bobotie is flavoured with aromatics like ginger, turmeric, curry powder and coriander and sweetened with apricot jam. A braaibroodjie is just a toasted sandwich made on the braai but you are welcome to use a hot pan to fry it up for your family.
