Banana bread anyone? There is nothing as inviting as the flavour of a freshly baked banana loaf coming straight out of the oven. Slathered with a generous knob of butter melting into the warm bread, and you are officially in food heaven.

This banana bread recipe is easy and straight forward and will make your heart swell with pride when you remove it from the oven.

This recipe is one of those evergreen recipes that will never lose its popularity. Even if you need to take a plate of snacks to a gathering, simply slice a banana bread and smear it with butter. You can even add some cheese if you like.

If you would like to bring some variations to this traditional recipe, you can add some walnuts and/or raisins for a nutty and fruity flavour.
