Crave a delicious seafood dish? This baked shrimps recipe is a flavoursome meal that you can enjoy for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

In less than 30 minutes you can have your baked shrimps ready. It only contains a few basic ingredients, but the combination is simply irresistible. When starting with this recipe, just make sure you have fresh shrimps, lemon, butter and Italian seasoning and you are good to go.

One of the best benefits of shrimps is that it is low in calories but dense in nutrients. Shrimps are further packed with iodine which many other food types do not contain. Iodine helps with proper thyroid functioning and your brain health. It further is a great source of omega 6, omega 3 fatty acids as well as antioxidants.

So, if you can lay your hands on fresh shrimps, there are so many healthy reasons why you should pop them into the oven to get the ultimate baked shrimps on the table.

Ingredients

  • 1 1 lemon

  • 250 g 250 butter

  • 500 g 500 fresh shrimps

  • 1 packet 1 dried Italian seasoning

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Cover the bottom of an oven dish with butter pieces.
  • Slice one lemon and layer it on top of the butter.
  • Layer the fresh shrimps, and then sprinkle one pack of dried Italian seasoning.
  • Put in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
