It’s the silly season and we have the perfect cocktail for the festivities to come. It even has a great name that is bound to bring a smile to your guests’ faces as well as start conversation. Inspired by the all-time favourite tequila cocktail, the margarita, the Monkarita cocktail is as fun to drink as it is to say. This is one heck of a gin cocktail that you will never forget.

The Monkarita is a very simple cocktail to make. It rewards with lots of flavours giving you the most unique experience. The only time-intensive step is making the Mysterium Syrup which is a cucumber, mint and green tea-infused syrup. You’ll only need to make this tasty cocktail ingredient once a month as it has a 4-week lifespan in the fridge. But that depends on the size of your party, doesn’t it?

When using MONKS gin, expect nine intensely flavour-forward botanicals, hand-picked and many endemic to South Africa. Combine with crystal-clear mountain waters and the result is a rewarding one, featuring ripples of citrus, berries and Cape Buchu.

Give the gift of pure flavour with our Monkarita Cocktail this festive season.
