There’s something about gin. It’s a spirit that pairs brilliantly with anything sour and tangy as well as sweet. This makes it the perfect beverage for cocktails during summer. No matter how it is mixed, it will always be refreshing. Why not try this colourful, refreshing and tasty Gin Gimlet cocktail?

The classic gimlet is ordered at a lounge or bar as “gin with a spot of lime” and is usually very sweet. Our ClemenGold Gin Gimlet is perfectly balanced as all things should be. It is well rounded with thyme-infused syrup for an aromatic sweetness as well as tang and flavour from lemon and grapefruit juice. Of course, this drink will have a robust serving of gin in each glass. Feel free to garnish this drink with lots of ice and a few sprigs of thyme and maybe a slice of grapefruit.

Gin gimlet is as delicious as it looks. It’s bound to be a crowd-pleaser at any South African summer braai as well as your next cocktail evening.
