One of the franchisees of Tammy Taylor SA, Happy Simelane, has made fresh accusations against owners Melany (Mel) and Peet Viljoen, claiming that they are “threatening to kill her”.

According to Simelane, this because she decided to expose the multimillionaire couple of an alleged fraud scheme that she claims they are running with their Tammy Taylor Nails SA franchises. Her bombshell allegations was aired on Carte Blanche on 30 October.

Tammy Taylor SA denies fraud claims

In reaction to the controversial episode, the husband of the Real Housewives van Pretoria star, Peet, said the couple are taking legal action against Carte Blanche for “spewing lies” about Tammy Taylor SA.

He also denied Simelane’s death threat claims in an exclusive interview with The South African.

Happy Simelane speaks to Gigi Lamayne about Tammy Taylor SA

This time, Simelane headed to yet another platform on 15 November where she broke down the dealings of her former nail salon in Menlyn, Johannesburg.

She spoke to Gigi Lamayne on the award-winning rapper’s podcast — Point of View with Gigi, which airs on her YouTube channel POVXGIGI — this week.

Simelane claims that for six weeks after she had taken over the salon, all the money that she made on a daily basis, went to the Tammy Taylor SA’s head office. She added that she did not have access to that bank account to track how much they were making a day.

HAPPY CLAIMS TAMMY TAYLOR SA IS LIKE ‘MAFIA’

The businesswoman and author went as far as claiming that she is dealing with “the mafia”, based on the Viljoens’ alleged fraudalent scam.

“I am dealing with the mafia, but I am the biggest mafia…you must just watch and learn,” she said.

According to Simelane, she has apparently been receiving threats for speaking out and that there is an order to kill her for R100 000.

“Already I am receiving threats. I received an SMS. On Sunday, bengibuya esontweni [I was coming from church] and I am like the devil is testing me. This person tells me there’s a hit and they paid R100k for that hit. So if I give them R100k, they will give me all the evidence of the hit so they can get arrested,” she claimed.

The Your Dreams are Valid author added: “There’s a hit on Happy Simelane and they want to kill me”.

VOICE NOTE: ‘HE WANTS TO KILL MY DAD’

Simelane then played a voice note to Lamayne that she received from another franchisee, named as “Kylie” on the podcast. In the voice note, the woman alleges Peet threatened to kill her father.

“Hi Happy. Sorry. Just wanna quickly reply with a voice note. Yeah, they do actually threaten. I don’t know if you actually listened to the voice note yesterday, but they do. They say basically they’ll kill my dad because they were involved with the franchise stuff. So they are really crazy.”

PEET VILJOEN RESPONDS TO DEATH THREAT CLAIMS

Peet responded to Simelane’s death threat claims in an exclusive interview with The South African on Tuesday 15 November.

He denied her claim that they ordered a hit on her head, demanding that he wants to see “proof” that he threatened her.

He also slammed the “Kylie” voice note claims as false.

“I send out a lot of voice clips. Some are to friends that I joke with. Now they are saying that its me sending it and meaning it. Total different thing. Unless there’s proof that I sent it to from my cellphone to her, it is just [someone’s] voice clip floating around in the universe,” he said.
