Mohale Motaung is making his own name for himself as a bigwig entrepreneur, and that includes venturing into the beauty business…

The actor and presenter – whose ex partner is Somizi Mhlongo – has launched his own skincare line called Elahom.

He tweeted of the news: “I’m honoured and humbled to announce what my love letter to my people in Africa is, my skin brand Elahom Cosmetics which will be launching soon”.

MOHALE CREATES SKINCARE FOR AFRICAN CLIMATE

Mohale’s motivation for the skincare range stemmed from his own experiences dealing with sensitive skin, which culminated in issues like dry skin, acne and hyperpigmentation,

The star claimed that he used a range of high and low end products to combat his skin issues, but to no avail.

He posted on social media: “It was a challenge to find a brand that would cater for skin exposed to Africa’s climate change that could deal with all issues that come with that. All this inspired me to embark on this journey of creating suitable skin products for different skin types.

“Thanks to the best of science meeting the best of nature, we will derive products that will not only simplify your skin routine but will give you more benefits than ever”.

Mohale has yet to announce a release date or product and pricing info.

However he does claim that the packaging will be “eco-sustainable”.

ZAHARA TO LAUNCH HER OWN PERFUME

Meanwhile singer Zahara will be adding her own perfume to her beauty business.

The Country Girl star last month revealed plans to launch her own hair care range in the near future.

The products would be targeted at natural hair and would be at affordable prices, said the star.

She told Business Report Online: “This is my first baby and comes from me. I used natural ingredients, there are no chemicals in my products.

“I have never relaxed my hair. I have always used natural oils and warm water.”

Zahara also sells sanitisers as a side hustle.
