Mosehle revealed her national costume for the Miss Supranational pageant on Instagram. The costume was designed by Sello Medupe. She mentioned that incorporating a SeanaMarena blanket as part of her costume was an obvious choice for her.

The blanket is a large part of Basotho culture and has been incorporated into her costume ever so flawlessly.

She will also be dressed by Willet Designs Couture, Malondie, Sheriff Taylor, Ernst Schutz and Juan William Aria.

THATO HOPES TO MAKE HISTORY

Miss Supranational is an annual international female beauty pageant that started in 2009 with most contests held in Poland. The medical doctor is the country’s first representative under the Miss South Africa Organisation banner.

Speaking to Channel24, she said she’s had a lot of preparation for the pageant, including receiving life coaching, vocal preparation and current affairs training.

“I have had runway training as well as hair and makeup training sessions. I have been working closely with Miss South Africa creative director Werner Wessels in order to understand the essence of the pageant. I have developed and grown immensely.”

Mosehle completed her medical internship last month and has been doing duty as frontline healthcare worker during the COVID-19 pandemic.
