Miss South Africa Top 30 contestant Keaoleboga Nkashe revealed her inspirations and plans for the future after making it into the top 30, in an exclusive interview with The South African.
Making it to the Miss South Africa top 30 feels like I’ve stepped into the physical manifestation phase of my dreams. It’s incredible to be here, I’m taking it one day at a time.
As someone who is multidimensional, there are three things at the core of my being: My passion for children, my love for the arts and my belief in the power of education. I would like – alongside the Miss South Africa organisation – to create an environment where talented and disadvantaged children are educated in order for them to use their talents to help them secure their basic needs.

I am in Shenzhen, China working as a kindergarten teacher and a freelance model. I’ll be coming home very soon to come and take part in the journey to becoming Miss South Africa.
I am using this amazing journey as a stepping stone to live my life in service as a humanitarian and inspire others to do the same. I’ve come abroad to come and experience life outside of South Africa in as much as it’s been amazing. I really miss home and I’m extremely happy to be coming back
My greatest inspiration for entering Miss South Africa is the phenomenal women who came before me in this journey. This organisation is wired in such a way that any woman who gets chosen from the get-go, gets to undergo life changing experiences and acquire knowledge. This equips them in becoming well rounded and impactful women in their chosen life paths. I am beyond honoured and privileged to be a part of such an amazing platform.
