Lalela just launched an initiative called #BeReady where she and other professionals offer their expertise to help budding SA entrepreneurs.

Lalela Mswane’s reign as Miss SA has been paved with an unusually high level of controversy. Over the last few months, she has been called all sorts of names by social media users. Despite all of this, her head is as high as ever as she embarks on a new journey that will see her helping local entrepreneurs reach their full potential.

She will also be launching an online clothing company to grow herself as an entrepreneur.

Lalela shines on with the new programme and business venture

Lalela’s journey as Miss South Africa has been everything but easy. The 24-year-old has faced a plethora of backlash and controversy by social media users who never hold back on speaking their minds.

Despite the hardship and harsh words, Lalela has kept her chin up and her crown high while making bold moves.

In fact, the beauty queen just announced the launch of a new programme called #BeReady. It is an advocacy campaign that will see Lalela host an edutainment series during which she will speak with aspiring entrepreneurs and share advice with them about starting their businesses.

The topics on the show will be around: how to draw up a business plan, get and maintain compliance, learn how to market yourself, where to get funding and how to scale your business.

Heading to her Instagram account, she shared the exciting news she said:

“The day has come! I’m officially launching my #BeReady campaign. To address youth unemployment in our country, I hope to inspire and motivate those seeking job opportunities to rather become job creators.

Lalela will be joined by other experts who will provide information and tips on how to get a start-up off the ground.

Big plans

She will not only be helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses, but she will also be going into business. Zalebs reports that she is launching an online clothing company with positiviTee’s at its core.

“I am starting my own company, I will start with T-Shirts that will feature inspirational messages.

“I am hoping that people will join me as I learn the rudimentary basics of how to start a business. From the first stage, we will all be learning together” she says.
