A black outfit worn by Kim Kardashian to her estranged husband Kanye West’s Donda listening party last week has spooked her fans and followers.

The reality star is known for her avante garde and often futuristic fashion looks, but this time she may have taken it a step too far…

The look — which has gone viral on social media — was created by designer to the stars Balenciaga.

Kim Kardashian arrived in the head-to-toe black ensemble, consisting of form-fitting trousers and a turtle-neck sweater.

But it was the eerie face mask which resembled something out of a horror movie, coupled with the star’s long fake ponytail braid that had fans disturbed.

“Balenciaga horror story”, tweeted one social media user.

Another added: “She really be letting Kanye make her look like a second-rate American Horror Story prop”.

A few more likened her to other creepy thriller movie characters.

Even Nori’s Black Book – a parody North West Instagram account, authorised by the Kardashians – hailed the look as upsetting.

“Note to self: Talk about this with my therapist”, she posted alongside the pic of Kim.

It wasn’t just Kim Kardashian that made a fashion statement at the listening party.

Kanye himself has made a string of appearances in bizarre couture face masks over the past few days, including one which resembled a ‘swirl kous’ on the night.

And then there was eight year-old North West who trended over her temporary face tattoos.

Balenciaga also found themselves topping the trends list after an item off their latest collection went viral.

A ‘holey hoodie’ priced at an eye-watering £1350 (almost R25 000) had tweeps in utter disbelief.

“For a mere £1300 you can look like you have lost a square go with a staffy” joked one tweep.

Another added of the distressed jumper: “For a mere £1350, you too can look as though you had a fight with a rabid dog”.
