HOW TO WATCH THE MISS SUPRANATIONAL IN SOUTH AFRICA

Miss SA Lalela Mswane is representing South Africa at the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant held in Poland on Friday 15 July.

Miss Supranational is an annual international female beauty pageant run by the World Beauty Association which is based in Hong Kong. The first Miss Supranational pageant was held in 2009 in Poland where most, but not all pageants have taken place. The pageant’s motto is: Glamour, fashion and natural beauty. There are 69 countries who are competing for the title this year.

The pageant will be hosted by Sky News and BBC Radio Londo presenter Anita Nneka Jones and Ivan Podrez. Namibia’s Chanique Rabe currently holds the title but she will pass it down to her successor at the event tonight.

So, how can Mzansi show Lalela support from South Africa? The pageant will stream live on the Miss Supranational YouTube page.

LALELA IDENTIFIED AS A FAVOURITE

Lalela has been voted into the contest’s coveted Top 10 Model of the Year slot. The reigning Miss SA has also made it through to round two of the Miss Supra Influencer segment of the competition.

“I’m having the time of my life. Making it into Round two of Supra Influencer is an important milestone as the winner of the contest gets to advance to the Top 24,” she said speaking from Poland.

“It was so much fun! We were given social media challenges to test our creativity – as people of influence. The first task for the Supra contestants was to create a reel that showed how their country prepared them for the international pageant,” she continued.
