Milan Men’s Fashion Week kicked off on Friday 17 June, with some of the top fashion houses in the world showcasing their Spring/Summer 2023 menswear collections. The likes of Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and Prada stunned audiences with their elegant fashion collections.

Limpopo-born brothers Denetric and Lebo Malope took the runaway for the Italian fashion house, Fendi. Interestingly enough, Denetric is a regular in the international fashion scene while his brother Lebo is new to the runway.

LIMPOPO BROTHERS DAZZLE MILAN FASHION WEEK AUDIENCE

Denetric Malope is a design graduate from Tshwane University of Technology and joined the international modelling circuit in May 2021. He told Drum that he has modelled for Prada and Dolce & Gabbana and wanted to wait for the right time to introduce his 17-year-old brother to the industry.

“He started early this year but went international [at] the beginning of June. We ended up at fashion week because it was a season and we had to be there according to what our management says,” said the 23-year-old.

Denetric added that their mother is their biggest cheerleader and has always been encouraged to do their best.

DENETRIC AND LEBO WALK SIDE-BY-SIDE FOR FENDI

Denetric and Lebo were given the opportunity to walk side-by-side during the Fendi fashion show and said it felt like “a dream come true”.
