The refined awards ceremony marked a return of the glamorous awards ceremony after the coronavirus pandemic forced the event to go virtual last year.
The Emmys – honouring the biggest stars of the small screen – saw the culmination of TV stars who were recognised for excellence in American daytime television programming.
Of course, proof of vaccination and a negative COVID-19 test were the requirements for the event, which took place at the LA Live entertainment complex for the first time ever.
