One of the biggest events on South Africa’s fashion calendar kicked off on Thursday evening 17 November. Some od Mzansi’s hottest celebs came through dripping at the African Fashion International (AFI) Fashion Week Joburg opening party at Daytona Motors, Melrose Arch in Johannesburg.

The event was all the rage as it was the hot ticket in Joburg, with DJ Zinhle on the decks.

AFI FASHION WEEK JOBURG: BEST-DRESSED STARS

The Jozi fashion streets came to life as our local celebs, influencers and fashionistas all gathered at the AFI Fashion Week Joburg opening party to kick off the two-day fashion extravaganza.

These two days will showcase Africa’s great fashion talent from young and emerging designers Ascend Label to the more established designers like David Tlale at the Sandton City Diamond Walk.

NDAVI NOKERI

Miss SA Ndavi Nokeri shined in a long-length, flowing blue dress showing some skin!

MIHLALI NDAMASE

Influencer, beauty guru and the woman who’s always in the tabloids, Mihlali Ndamase, gave us body and black in a Taibo Bacar dress, paired with chunky statement jewellery and spiced it up with a daring red hair do.

ANGA MAKHUBALO (NAAK MUSIQ)

Singer and actor Anga Makhubalo also known as Naak MusiQ represented the gents well in an ombre tuxedo jacket with black jeans created by a brand named Sutablility.

BONTLE MODISELLE

Media personality and dancer, Bontle Modiselle was pretty in pink in a layered long dress and kept it simple with accessories. Nice touch!
