‘Skeem Saam’ actress Innocent Sadiki stars in reality show ‘Pastors’ Wives’

Innocent Sadiki is set to star in the new series which follows a group of women who play an important role in their partners’ congregations.

Innocent Sadiki is starring in the upcoming reality series Pastors’ Wives on new DStv channel Honey. It will premiere on 19 February at 5pm Central African Time (CAT).

INNOCENT SADIKI ON NEW CHANNEL HONEY

Channel 173, Honey, is DStv’s new lifestyle channel aimed at celebrating and exploring African lives with content focused on lifestyle, food, fashion, reality and more.

“As Africa’s most loved storyteller, DStv continues to be bold in delivering the best content the continent has to offer, while ensuring that we celebrate the way we live,” Yolisa Phahle, Multichoice Group CEO of General Entertainment and Connected Video, said.

“This is a lifestyle channel made in Africa for Africans by Africans.”

The channel will be broadcasted in all key African regions.

INNOCENT SADIKI: ‘I’M NERVOUS ABOUT THIS ONE’

The actress, who plays the role of Sthoko Seakamela on Skeem Saam, said she was nervous about the series, but trusted God’s timing.

The mother of two is married to pastor and television director Phindu Sadiki. She is also a preacher herself.

Innocent Sadiki co-presents Alpha Youth, a gospel show, alongside her identical twin sister, Millicent Mashile. The twins are also on Big Breakfast on YoTV.

ABOUT ‘PASTORS’ WIVES’

Pastors’ Wives is a weekly reality show to be broadcasted every Friday. It following the lives of five women who keep it together in their prominent religious households, revealing the difficulties and drama that can come with this role.

The show was created by former Generations actress Sonia Mbele, who produced the Real Housewives of Joburg. Alongside Sadiki, Pastors’ Wives will star Nandipha Mlombi, Phume Khethang, Anietie Ezeimo and Adeyola Da Costa.

PASTOR’S WIFE NANDIPHA MLOMBI

Nandipha Mlombi is married to Reverend Mawuzole Mlombi. She is a former Mrs South Africa contestant and a mother of five who recently gave birth to a baby girl. Mlombi is also a YouTuber, and runs an events company and a clothing line.

Mlombi excitedly took to Instagram to share the news of her participation in the show.
