Hello! M-Net to air ‘Adele: One Night Only’ Oprah interview special [watch]

M-Net has acquired the rights for screening ‘Adele: One Night Only’ special that originally aired on CBS on Sunday 14 November.

British songstress Adele recently sat down with iconic talk show host Oprah Winfrey for a two-hour special where she speaks on the difficulties she has faced over the past few years.

The Hello singer also treated close friends to a performance of some of her biggest hits. South African television channel M-Net, will air the special on Monday 22 November.

ADELE: ONE NIGHT ONLY’

CBS’ One Night Only special saw the Grammy award-winning singer sit down for an interview with world-renowned talk show host Oprah Winfrey. In the interview, the two speak about the death of Adele’s father Mark Evans, her divorce from charity CEO Simon Konecki and her upcoming album 30

The Someone Like You hitmaker also dives into her weight loss and her relationship with alcohol. 

Speaking on her divorce from Simon Konecki, the singer revealed a turning point in her marriage. 

“When I admitted to my own friends that who thought that I was really happy that actually, I’m really unhappy, they all gasped.”

M-NET TO AIR‘ADELE: ONE NIGHT ONLY’

Channel24 reported that M-Net will air the Adele: One Night Only special. 

South Africans will be treated to the sit-down interview with Oprah Winfrey and the performance at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles which saw the 33-year-old singer perform her new single Easy On Me live for the first time. 

Adele: One Night Only will be aired on Monday 22 November at 19:30. The special originally aired on Sunday 14 November.

‘30’

According to reports, Adele performed unreleased songs on Adele One Night Only from her upcoming album 30. The talented singer has only released one single from the 12-track album. 

Fans can expect an album that narrates Adele’s rollercoaster journey over the past few years. 


The album will feature the songstress’ first collaboration ever. She has collaborated with American artist Chris Stapleton on a duet of Easy On Me.
