EFF welcomes Molefe to parliament with “where is that corrupt bastard” comment

Opposition MPs weren’t too pleased with “Saxonwold Shebeen” Brian Molefe’s arrival in parly.

The ANC’s announcement on Thursday that Brian Molefe had been sworn in as an MP didn’t sit well with opposition parties, but surely the former Eskom CEO didn’t think his little trip to the legislature would be a smooth one.

The EFF took the lead in ‘welcoming’ Molefe to parly in the best way they know how.

“Where is that corrupt bastard?” The red berets’ Moses Mbatha yelled before another MP shouted “we will not be abused by a Gupta.”

Molefe resigned as Eskom CEO after former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela’s State of Capture report placed him at the infamous Gupta residence, Saxonwold, no less than 13 times.

Anyway, back to parliament. Cope firebrand Diedre Carter also gave the speaker an earful over Molefe’s ‘deployment’ to the house.

“Speaker I just want to know if true North has changed in this house. Because the immorality compass is pointing directly at honourable Molefe right now,” Carter  said.
