Dudu Zuma throws trees at Fikile Mbalula: ‘Singing for his supper’

If there’s one thing about Dudu, it’s that she loves throwing shade. This time she aimed her guns at Mbalula for showing Ramaphosa support.

The real queen of throwing shade Duduzile Zuma has once again done what she does best, criticising anything and anyone that does not benefit her father, former president of South Africa, Jacob Zuma. This time, Dudu decided to throw shade at the minister of roadworks and transportation, Fikile Mbalula. The shade comes after Mbalula showed his support for the country’s current president, Cyril Ramaphosa.

According to Dudu, Fikile is only sucking up to the president because he is benefitting from having him in office. Many social media users have shared mixed reactions to Dudu’s accusations.

Dudu Zuma definitely doesn’t have any reservations when it comes to the things she says online – no matter who or what she is talking about.

The latest person to receive a jab from the ever-vocal Dudu, is transport minister, Fikile Mbalula.

Heading to her Twitter page on Monday this week, Dudu accused Mbalula of brown-nosing president Cyril Ramaphosa so that he can continue milking him for benefits.

According to Briefly News, Dudu’s shade came after a clip of Mbalula endorsing Ramaphosa as the ANC’s leader for a second term in office went viral on social media.

“A not so rare video of my good friend Mbaks singing for his supper.”

“Fact: Not even his peers who want to emerge are considering this guy on their ‘slates’. That must tell you about this guy. So, shem, he has no choice!” Dudu captioned the video of Mbalula.

Mzansi weighs in

South Africans were left heavily divided on what Dudu had to say and on Mbalula endorsing Rampahosa. The main division was between stark Zuma supporters and those who believe Ramaphosa actually deserves to stay president.

“This is DISGUSTING to hear a full-grown man who is serving as minister, PRAISING a president who has plunged a country into adverse poverty, corruption at a high level, no accountability, cover-ups with law enforcement on crimes by the president. Does Mbalula know when to stop?”

An obvious anti-Zuma supporter wrote:

“Shem, who do you want him to sing? He did the same to your father and you loudly rejoiced now he is doing it to another person he is singing for His Supper. Uyasidakelwa wena.”
