DogTV hits the screens to help destress man’s four-legged friends!

Wondering how to keep your dog entertained? Wonder no more as DogTV is dedicated specifically to keeping the calm and relaxed.

Get your dogs ready ladies and gentlemen because they now have their very own TV channel. DogTV was founded after psychologists found that watching TV helps dogs destress and relax. The channel has already launched in the UK and will soon hit screens across the world.

DogTV helps dogs take a load off!

We all know the benefits of sitting down in front of our television sets to watch our favourite movies and series while overdoing it is never advised, there is a lot of fun to be had unwinding on the couch while getting some top-notch entertainment.

This simple pleasure has now been made available for dogs after research found that watching television is both relaxing and calming for dogs.

Algoa FM reports how DogTV will air scientifically tested programming that will alleviate symptoms of conditions such as separation anxiety, loneliness, and stress. The channel will also help dog owners better understand their pet’s needs.

The network was founded in equal parts by Ron Levi and Guy Martinovsky, its first CEO, that sold his shares later To Jasmine Group.

“With numbers of dog owners rising over the pandemic, and owners now returning to work, DogTV helps canines to feel relaxed and comforted until their owners return home,” says chief scientist for DogTV Professor Nicholas Dodman who also added that the channel will help dog owners with behavioural problems while they are away from home.

Dog lovers are bursting with excitement

After hearing the news, many dog owners headed online where they rushed to find out how they can get the channel for their pets. Twitter user @Becky_m_lane asked:

“What time is it available to add onto Amazon fire please? We can’t seem to find it.”

Meanwhile, the channel has already aired in the UK and a few other countries and can be downloaded on Google Play and Apple.
