‘Pretty bad parenting’: Clip shows cheetah trying to attack baby [watch]

A pretty frightening video clip has been doing the rounds on social media – and as usual, people have had a lot to say. In the clip, a baby can be seen sitting near a glass door when all of a sudden, a large cheetah jumps at the startled little one who starts crying instantly.

Netizens slam parents who allowed a cheetah to scare their baby

Social media users are once again buzzing about a shocking clip that was shared on Facebook on 15 February, by a page called Kruger Magazine. In the clip, a baby gets the shock of her life when a cheetah charges straight at her.

Luckily she was shielded by a glass door – which the cheetah ran straight into – so there was no harm done, though she was pretty spooked and started crying almost immediately.

The clip was captioned:

“Always keep the doors & windows closed when living in the bush.”

While many found the short clip quite entertaining, not everyone thought it was funny that the child was so close to danger.

The comment section blows up

Many Facebook users headed to the comment section where they bashed the child’s parents for videotaping the scary moment instead of preventing it from happening. Some even went as far as saying that the parents have “poor parenting skills.”
