‘YFA’ : Annie fumes as 2Baba claims men are ‘wired’ to cheat

Nigerian musician legend Innocent Idibia – better known as “2Baba” or “2Face” – silenced the whole table at dinner and upset his wife, Annie Idibia, when he justified why men cheat.

The African Queen hitmaker, who appeared in the fourth episode of the second season of the Netflix reality series, Young Famous and African – which premiered on Friday, 19 May – claimed men are programmed to cheat.

2Baba, who has fathered five children outside his marriage, made the startling claims in the presents of their guests and Annie’s co-stars; Andile Ncube, Nadia Nakai, Naked DJ and his partner Kayleigh Schwark.

According to 2Baba, a man can love a woman dearly, but his genitals have a mind of their own and can decide that he goes after another woman and sleep with her.

“Like it or not, men are wired like that. A man will love a woman to hell. But maybe he is somewhere, his dick would just decide something to f*ck,” the singer said.

Nadia chimed in: “No, his mind, not his d*ck. It’s not its own entity.”

2Baba added: “Okay, however, you look at it, he will f*ck. But he will not even give a f*ck about that person. He just wants to sort out that sh*t.”

Annie, who was fuming, asked: “Are you talking generally or yourself? Is that you or is that your belief?”

The musician replied: “It’s what I believe.”

2Baba’s assertion resulted in his wife storming out of the room. During her confessional, the actress admitted that she was hurt and heartbroken that her husband thinks that way.

The world got to know about 2Baba and Annie’s marital affairs in the first season of Young Famous and African when the Nollywood actress broke down as she revealed how much her husband’s cheating has embarrassed and affected her.

Holding nothing back during the show, the mother-of-two revealed that her hubby cheated on her with several other women. Annie shared that she was there before the fame and fortune but she was not the first to bare his children. In fact, she wasn’t the second either.

“My first child is his fifth and I met him before everybody. So, you know what that is?” she said on the reality show.

In October last year, the rumour mill was rife with allegations that 2Baba was expecting yet another child; this time, with a banker. However, in the second season of the show, Annie rubbishes that rumours. She claims that the story about a banker is old and keeps resurfacing.
