Over the years, many celebrities have revealed how they are keeping their children from becoming entitled spoiled brats. While some have been criticised for an overly harsh approach, others have been praised for their parenting styles. Now we hear there are celebrities who don’t give their children Christmas gifts.

Celebrities are known to go all out when it comes to their little ones – especially around Christmas time. Only a few months ago, the internet went wild when Cardi B gifted her daughter a necklace worth thousands of dollars.

While some stood with Cardi who basically said it’s her money she can do with it as she pleases, others said she was raising a spoiled child.

Other celebrities such as Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are hellbent on taking a different approach. These celebrities revealed that they do not splurge on Christmas gifts for their children.

“So far, our tradition is no presents for the kids.”

“We’re instituting it this year because when the kids are [younger than] one, it doesn’t really matter. Last year when we celebrated Christmas, Wyatt was two and it was too much. We didn’t give her anything—it was the grandparents. The kid no longer appreciates the one gift. They don’t even know what they’re expecting; they’re just expecting stuff,” Mila Kunis told Entertainment Tonight in 2017.

In Touch reveals that HGTV’s Chip and Joanna Gaines have also decided against buying their kiddies Christmas prezzies.

“I started to think about how we could impact our kids’ lives in a real big-picture sort of way,” he wrote in The Magnolia Journal‘s 2017 winter edition.

“They were still young, but we’d been through enough Christmases … to know how quickly presents can get out of hand.”

The publication also reveals that instead of unwrapping bunches of pricey gifts, Chip and the kids drove around with the children giving out presents to those in need.

Surprisingly enough, Kim Kardashian and Kanye said the same thing a few years back. Back then the now separated couple said that they wanted the children to “stay grounded” as much as possible.
